I really don’t know what to say, Chilton. As our resident celebrity gossip magazine guy we expect you to stay up on goings-on in the world of celebrity, so we don’t have to. But it seems that over the past year you and your papparazzi cabal have been so busy hounding Britney to the brink of insanity and keeping tabs on Marko’s love-life (also so we don’t have to) that you failed to take note of the international celebrity playing right next to you in the midfield (sorry Javier – I’m not talking about you). As you might expect, it took a real investigator to apply cutting edge investigative technique (read: one Jaeger-bomb) and drag this fantastic story to light. Also making his small-screen debut is Cleo Eligible Bachelor of the Year Brendan Lim. Brendan, 29, a Scottish-Chinese IT consultant, has been in Singapore for two years. He plays Aaron Lim, Taufik’s rich best friend. Said Brendan of his character: ‘He is very supportive of Taufik, but they have a love-hate relationship.Aaron’s a young, arrogant, happy-go-lucky guy. I enjoy playing Aaron. I think I am a bit like him. I’m one of those guys who likes the party scene, enjoys dressing up and fast cars, trying to lavish myself.’

Which reminds me, I think I may have uncovered the bachelor thing too. Just goes to show what happens when the brilliant investigative reporter has one too many pints.
