Holy cow what a night. Congrats to all of you for your efforts in making Thursday night the success it was. Everyone had a great night and we, importantly, created a great stage for friends to meet more of the Reds squad and have a laugh. On the fundraising side of things we blew the lid off our original target, drew a crowd of about 75 and raised as much as we’ve ever made with the whole CPR club previously – thanks to Drew, Gummy, Meridyth, Mark and Manny for turning up in support. 
Please make sure you give special thanks to your fellow teamates who worked so hard, on your behalf, before and during the night – Alex BL, Rob Chilton, John Porges, Eduardo, Nikle, Roddy and Rich Enticott. Due to the higher level of games at Met Oval last year, there is a shortfall in team finances. We’re going to solve this problem quickly by having a Reds Squad fundraiser at Central Bar (hopefully featuring a band led by our very own Ugo!) We’re still putting together the details but we have tentative date of Thursday March 22nd – Upstairs at Central Bar.
Please let comment if you’re interested in helping putting this together as without a fundraiser we’d have ask all of you to dip into your own pocket, and that’s no fun at all!

Following the excessive amounts of alcohol consumed during the fall campaign we’ve decided to blend the 2 squads and arrest the slide of reds, and therefore the whole squad, from Div 2 oblivion.
