UPDATE: The Sporting Astoria tournament has now been moved to start on March 8th & 15th. An obvious conflict with 1st game on March 15th but I haven’t seen times for either yet so we’ll deal with when we find out.

The Cosmopolitan Soccer League is holding a 6-a-side tournament on March 1 in New Jersey. Top prize in the Premier Division is $1,000.00 (aka a lot of Central Bar Carlsberg). Cost is $225/team for an Open or B team, and $300/team for a Premier team.

The league is anxious to get clubs involved. It could be a good way to shake off the winter cobwebs and start getting back in shape (well, hopefully you’re all doing windsprints everyday, but I doubt it). Here are the details:

$1,000.00 First Prize in the Premier Division
